As a popular tourist destination, there are a variety of great things to see and do when visiting Egg Harbor Township. Golf is especially popular in this community, with notable courses including Harbor Pines Golf Club, Ballamor Golf Club, McCullough's Emerald Golf Links, and the Green Tree Golf Course. Families with young children may also like to check out the Jersey Shore Children’s Museum or Storybook Land, which is a 20 acre kid’s park that features storybook characters like the Tree Little Pigs and Mother Goose.

The climate in Egg Harbor Township is one of the reasons that the region is so popular with summer tourists. As part of a humid subtropical zone, summer weather is warm and humid, with average highs reaching the upper 70s. While heat waves with even higher temperatures are common, an energy efficient air conditioning unit can also be useful in improving indoor air quality for people who suffer from allergies and asthma.

Climate control systems are even more important in the winter, as temperatures will plummet into the 30s. Without taking precautions by investing in an energy efficient heat pump or furnace – and having them serviced regularly – indoor temperatures could become dangerously cold. Likewise, these units are crucial in preventing pipes and plumbing from freezing due to the cold.
